Elbow
An input elbow is always used when the water supply from below to the monitor is not possible. Due to its design, the elbow allows a horizontal water flow to the monitor. The knee can be connected to a hose or pipe via couplings.
Electrical Riser
Pull-outs are installed in fire engines to lift monitors from a low stand-by position to a raised working position. When the monitor is retracted, the overall height of the vehicle can be kept low. In the raised working position, the vertical swivel range of the monitor is considerably extended. Electric riser are installed in fire trucks to lift monitors from a low standby position to a raised working position. When the monitor is retracted, the overall height of the vehicle can be kept low. In the raised working position, the vertical swivel range of the monitor is considerably extended, while at the same time the working position is optimised for the operator. The riser consists of a telescopic tube pull-out and an electric linear drive located on the side of it. Due to its compact design, the electric riser offers particular advantages in confined installation situations.
Flange
Flanges are used to connect monitors to a pipeline. In order to take into account the different flange sizes worldwide, the flange size of some monitor types can be selected and configured accordingly. Flange ANSI 3" 150lbs outside diameter: approx. 190 mm
Folding Joint DN80-DN80
Folding joints are used to fold monitors from the working position to a rest position for transport or storage and are mainly used on vehicles, but also in industrial plants. Folding joints are designed to fold down monitors from the fire-fighting position to an idle position to enable them to be transported or stored away. Although they are used primarily on vehicles, they are also used in industrial facilities such as waste incineration plants. Used on vehicles they allow monitors to be permanently installed without increasing the overall height of the vehicle. When swung out during assignments, the raised position of the monitor provides a much greater vertical swivel range downwards while also making it possible to operate effortlessly. The joint is secured, with positive locking and vibration resistance, by a spring-loaded lock in both the set up position and the folded down position. Folding joints are used in industrial facilities for moving monitors from their working positions to an idle position. This is particularly important in incineration plants, because monitors are then protected from the grippers on the waste crane, from projecting objects and also from heavy pollution. To avoid damages, the folding joints should not swing freely during transport. When folded down, they must be picked up at a point on the superstructure roof. The maximum allowd flow rate of 3000 l/min must be respected.
LED Spotlight
Headlights are mounted on the monitors and are used to illuminate the area of operation. Headlight with latest LED technology for mounting on monitor APF 2-DC. This headlight is used for an ideal illumination of the monitors working area and is set for high beam illumination. The headlight package is equipped with 2 headlights and holder. One headlight each for near-field illumination and long-range illumination.
Pneumatic Riser
Pull-outs are installed in fire engines to lift monitors from a low stand-by position to a raised working position. When the monitor is retracted, the overall height of the vehicle can be kept low. In the raised working position, the vertical swivel range of the monitor is considerably extended. Pneumatic extensions are installed into firefighting vehicles in order to lift monitors from a low standby position to a raised work position. Thus, the vehicle overall height can be kept low with the monitor retracted. The vertical monitor swivel range will extend considerably at the raised work position and the operator's work position is optimised. The extension consists of a telescopic tube extension and two pneumatic cylinders arranged to the left and right sides. These cylinders are supplied with compressed air between 5 bar and 8 bar. Delay elements dampen the extension and retraction movement The pneumatic extension DN150 has a lifting height of 450 mm and a lifting speed of approx. 22 s, at a control air pressure of 6 bar. Two air connections ¼" provide the required control pressure of 5 - 8 bar for the two pneumatic cylinders.
