Medium foam nozzles are used to apply extinguishing foam, especially in the form of medium expansion foam. The water/foaming agent mixture is foamed by absorbing air and is applied in a free jet. A high foaming rate is made possible by the integrated refining screen. Equipped with the ball valve, the nozzle guide is able to interrupt the discharge of extinguishing agent.

Die AWG Mittelschaumrohre nach DIN EN 16712-3 dienen der Ausbringung von Löschschaum, im Speziellen in Form von Mittelschaum. Das Wasser-/Schaummittelgemisch wird unter Ansaugen von Luft verschäumt und im freien Strahl ausgebracht. Durch das integrierte Veredlersieb wird eine hohe Verschäumung ermöglicht. Ausgestattet mit der Kugelhanabsperrung ist es dem Strahlrohrführer möglich die Löschmittelabgabe zu unterbrechen.
