APF 5 DC

Alco monitors of the APF 5 size are convincing in their function as vehicle monitors. Due to the special design in combination with a corresponding nozzle, these monitors meet the required ICAO regulations and are mainly used on airfield fire fighting vehicles. Size APF 5 monitors were specially developed for use as roof monitors on vehicles. The body of the APF5 is characterized by a very low overall height in relation to the internal diameter of the waterway. This makes it ideally suited as a roof monitor for airfield fire extinguishing vehicles. The monitors are used as water of foam monitors with a throughput capacity of up to 8.000 lpm at 8 bar. The water way is hydraulically optimized flow guide ribs, which leads to low pressure losses and permits large throwing widths. The listed basic model is without nozzle and inlet flange. A corresponding flange and nozzle configuration can be made in the listed accessories. The horizontal swivelling range can be increased to up to 360°, depending on the configuration and after prior consultation.
