The water/foaming agent mixture is foamed by absorbing air and is applied in a free jet. Heavy foam nozzles are used together with the AWG foam inducturs Z2, Z4 and Z8.

Die AWG Mittelschaumrohre nach DIN EN 16712-3 dienen der Ausbringung von Löschschaum, im Speziellen in Form von Mittelschaum. Das Wasser-/Schaummittelgemisch wird unter Ansaugen von Luft verschäumt und im freien Strahl ausgebracht. Durch das integrierte Veredlersieb wird eine hohe Verschäumung ermöglicht. Ausgestattet mit der Kugelhanabsperrung ist es dem Strahlrohrführer möglich die Löschmittelabgabe zu unterbrechen.
